I Swear You Will Be Fine

You held me for a while
But you are my forever
In every dream I dream
It’s you and I together

I see you crying sometimes
It rains up here then too
I know you miss me mummy
But I live on in you

I live on in your memories
Where we often meet
I live on in your heart
With every brave, and loving beat

I’m singing in the sunsets
I’m catching every kiss
So, live your life for me
For all the stories that I’ve missed.

And I’ll be waiting for you
Where the seasons never fade
You will be much older
And I will not have changed

No matter how much time has passed
I’ll know that loving smile
And I’ll run into your arms
The ones that held me for a while

One day we’ll be together again
So mummy, please don’t cry
Just look for me at night
Shining for you in the sky.
