Dear Josh,
I’m writing this in the plane to London. There’s about two hours left before we land and I’ve been so productive! Let me start with food first because I’m quite proud of what I’ve eaten thus far considering I’m not so good at eating on planes. I had 70% of breakfast which included some scrambled eggs and potato wedges, some apples and grapes (I know right!!!), a raspberry yogurt (fruit + healthy?? Who am I??), and two cups of orange juice. A few hours later I got a little peckish and had a cup of tom yum instant noodles. You wouldn’t fully approve but I’m on vacation so it’s allowed. I should have waited to have the instant noodles actually because dinner came shortly after and because I was quite full I only ate about 40% of it. Also, I misheard and thought we were getting fish and rice, but it was fish and very tasteless rice noodles, so that was a bummer. But after I had cheese and crackers and I think I might have some chips before we land. Again, this is quite unlike me so I’m very pleased with my accomplishments on the food front.
For entertainment, I chose to watch the fifth and sixth Harry Potter movies. Do you remember agreeing to rewatch them with me? I told myself I’d never watch Harry Potter again after you passed, but I think this is one of those things that I’ve had to let go of. Anyway, both movies were thoroughly enjoyable considering I usually lose interest within the first thirty minutes of watching movies. I’ve decided to watch 7 and 8 on my way back, so I’m just reading now.
I managed to get some decent sleep too! Your mum came by to check on me, so sweet of her, but I was asleep haha. Trying to beat jet lag! The flight has been quite pleasant so far. I’ve not been bored and I don’t feel queasy at all. Hope I didn’t just jinx it.
Thank you for helping me with a comfortable flight. I hope your mum’s experience was comfortable too! Can’t wait to see you again. I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, and I’ll miss you more than you can imagine.
Love always,
Sha
